Ever believe in another world? Ever wonder if the things you think of in your mind exist, the things that seem like they could never be? Maybe they do. Maybe that world that you think you imagined is real. The only problem is, how does one get there?Â
Through pictures one can create their perfect world. In stories one can tell about it. And even if one does not have their own world, they can see others, and share with them that experience.
I am a witer. Although I am not great at art work, I still like to see the worlds of others. A small glimpse into another's mind. Sometimes it makes you question existance.
Now tell me, Have I made you question yours?
Now here is a question for you to ponder. What is the difference between the quiet one and the silent one?

your poem evokes the basic sense of fear of something looming over us in the dark; but you turn at end to the hope that we'll be raised into light no matter what happens (that simple, gentle folk prayer). A sensitive poem for your image. The image (beautiful) evokes great power to my eyes; the tree you show is filled with a power of its own, and because you capture the light of its trunk, and then take us into the upper branches where you captured highlights there too, you showed a lot of power in this tree in addition to its fearful presence. Your tones are almost silver-plate, you got a very finely graded silvery gray; and it actually gives a softness to your nightmare tree; and the intensified sky behind its trunk is quietly luminous. This is just my interpretation, but I'd say that the tree has the beauty and power to lift the nightmare & show that, even in its decay, it has much dignity and strength to offer its viewer. Just my feeling, for what it's worth. An evocative shot, and the clarity of the bark & complexity where it starts to branch out is beautiful.

Oooh, nicely done darkness. Very classically Gothic. (Not "goth"!)
