Description

This is the original photograph that I played with to create "Flipped" from yesterday. It's the entrance to the Convention and Trade Center in Seattle. The convention center covers two blocks, and this is the connecting bridge and canopy between those two blocks. I almost forgot to tell you, I'll be gone all weekend, so don't worry if you don't see me! I'll be back Sunday night. A bunch of us are going to Lopez Island for a long weekend. * sigh * LIfe is good.

Thanks for back flipping for us:) Looks perfectly normal now that I look at it today. I've also been in somebody's airport that has roofs like this in the passenger terminals. Light and glass again, huh :-)

It is a cool structure, isn't it? And it's SOOOO BIG!!! I've attended a few conferences there, and it takes what seems like forever to walk from one end to the other. Great shot!

all fleshed out and in its natural colors: It's so much more gentle & mellow, and yet it's not as gritty or intense. Two views of the same place; & a designer would tell you, they're both right...You got the light across the top of the arch very nicely, and the differing green hues & shadows, and the nice interplay of diagonal 'juts' in the right wall. You caught its counterpoint very nicely. Hope your weekend trip was nice. It blizzarded here, so you had to have a better time than we did! A very gentle-hued shot, very nice for a big open space...
