Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

HAH! that reminds me of that joke...... Why does it take a woman with PMT 2 hours to make a bed? answer: 'Because it BL**DY WELL DOES!, that's why!!!!'

That down and up all within a short span of time! Reminds me of my mother telling me, you're shrieking with laughter now, but you'll be crying before you go to bed. She was right. How'd she know? Well, you and Andrea have answered that...she was a woman after all. A great little piece.

Well, I'll be...an interesting compo of a lady immersed under an ocean wave. Fine postwork in this effort, Maz! Looks like something jocko500 would do. As for the prose, most fitting for the capricious and unpredictable female gender.

well I've had mood swings too, though different hormones so I won't try to compete...but you sure captured the essence of tidal-wave emotions in a few short lines. Your poetry really rocks, Marilyn!
