Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Glad you found him. Seems he's lost an eye somewhere. I can smell the fresh bread. A photo with an olfactory effect! Well done.

I've seen those, they do have some interesting shapes! Great shot!

Excellent shaped bread, the skill this involves makes you appreciate those bakers, clever stuff here.

Marilyn I have seen them too when I was in Frisco on the wharf and thanks for having a pic of one. I can almost taste the clam chowder now :)

You rang? Oh, you mean the French bread...hmmmm. Ironically, I do get quite crabby when I get hungry and my blood sugar drops out of sight. Anyhow, a terrific POV captures the fine clarity, lighting, orangy color effects and textures in this neato keeno capture, Maz!

well between crab & olfactory there are puns waiting in the wings...(just how old is that factory...never mind...) Great looking loaf, fine postwork, it glows...And with the thumbnail I though it was a real crustacean! Nice to clean up old photos, isn't it? What photographers would've done for software through most of the 20th C...Fun shot, it looks good enough to eat in this shot. And btw, I think you should go back there (time travel) and tell them that one of the eyes is missing. (Well Bill said that, didn't he...Maybe it's winking, I don't know...) (just read all the comments, it's making me hungry!)
