Description

(This picture is a part of a series) Water currents some times creat surprise sand platforms in the water. In other cases it could be a brocken branch of a tree . When the boat run over them its propeller may get damaged. Such incidents happens but rarely. So this is a rare photogrhaph. I have read about such reports in the news paper but none of them had a photo. For me it was a luck, but I won't say so. For them, they have trouble for days. These are the men behind the scenes.

After seeing previous shots of this series with the wave action so strong and obviously digging and moving the shore's sand, I am not surprised that sand bars appear out of nowhere and probably disappear just as strangely. A damaged prop or shaft can be a very serious thing if you do not have the means to repair it quickly. Wonderful shot.

Their expressions show that this is a very unwelcome occurence. I'm glad you were there to get a shot. Great capture of the situation, their actions and expressions!
