Description
Seventh in a series captured on film October 1988 at the annual Hot Air Balloon Festival, held in beautiful Albuquerque, New Mexico.
See the February 24, 2009 posting of No. 1 for more details on my trip.
A zoom view reveals much more detail.
And yes, the Mickey Mouse head sitting on the ground in the third photo and the Diet Pepsi can in the middle of the bottom shot are balloons. A wee bit of whimsy, I suspect.
Thankx for the visit, and have a tamper-proof Tuesday.

Hi Harry. Good shots. My absolute favorite is photo 4. I'll bet no ballon stopped at the stop sign, did they?

Great series of shots! Love Hot Air Balloons. Have to admit. The UK and Europe are REALLY big into balloons. Corporate advertising, the weirder shaped the better! Great shots and I love the Pepsi one! Rob.

It's so funny to see the word "transportation" under Genre, not because balloons aren't transportation—they are—but because we usually think of transportation as cars, trains, planes, etc. A really fun group and it's nice that you saved the Pepsi one for last (along with that Stop sign which I really like sitting there out like that—a nice visual accent), because it's the departure in the group. Nice balloons, nice area to go ballooning in, and all of us who do montages can learn things from the way you do yours. I go through idiocy to come up with montages, it just drives me crazy; I guess if I did as many as you do, I'd have it down by now...A really fun shot. I'll check out some of the earlier ones in the coming days...
