Description
The roads crossing a border are not exactly the same. One may flow smoother than another.
J.S. decided that the hour of his counterattack had come, but in order to do that he had to penetrate Bradburyton. Easier said than done.
Therefore he decided to base his plan on a recon of the Earthener compound, observing the entrance points, the surveillance shifts, the procedures and so on.
His recon was made easier (or harder) by Flotsam and Jetsam. The kids had determined that he was the best playmate in the galaxy. In truth, the young scamps knew every dune, ravine and hole. They proved themselves damn useful, even if they had a penchant for elaboration...

I don't know if it's as hard to do dark pieces in Poser as it is with a camera, but it can't be all fun. (I.e, because of making figures clear in a dark environment.) Your visual captured the narrative: 3 people peeking out from behind a ridge, and the kids all glee & fun even as so much is at stake. Making children the 'wise guides' is a really nice choice, because of the innate purity & wisdom of children; but also because of the glee they're having finding devious ways of getting through this maneuver. And in addition to their smiles, you've covered them in either dirt or camouflage (which is delightful). And I like JS's hand on one of the children: It's like he's protecting them, or at least being sure they don't go too fast. Delightful, even for a dark dangerous scene. (Narrative counterpoint---serious even deadly maneuver, but with play & humor.) Also, nice texture to the lightning in that reddish purplish sky...
