Description

I just had to include a bow detail shot in this little series of pictures to show the once proud name still displaying on the prow. Salters fleet colours at the time of decommissioning were white and red with the names in gilt. Though the gold has faded over the years, it still glowed in the waters reflection when I took this photo. Sadly, I didn’t catch it in this picture. ------------------------------- Original Photograph 28-Mar-2009

Beautiful capture; this boat looks like it's had better days, but it's still a handsome craft!

What a sad end to this old boat, I wonder if it can be saved? Or is there too much damage?
