Description

Some wildflowers seen on a walk yesterday as color returns to Texas. Though not as showy as the Texas Bluebonnet, my favorite is the Buffalo Pea. Little more than a ground cover, and low to the ground, it has purple and white blooms. When the rains come just right, they can blanket the roadsides, fields, and hillsides. And then their perfume fills the air! I swear they smell exactly like Grape Soda tastes! I probably hadn't drank a Grape Soda in 15 years, but yesterday I stopped and bought one. nice collage cool butterfly and great wild flowers, grape soda? hmmm! sounds nice but i cant get the smell cos i dont know what grape soda is:(

Do they still make grape soda? Haven't see any for quite a spell, but then again, I really wasn't looking for it. But I digress. A simply stellar collage featuring these very pretty and colorful wildflowers, plus the lovely and highly textured butterfly, Maria!
