Description

Our small town is reeling from the death of one of its own boys in blue, the first police officer in the 150 yr. history of the town to die in the line of duty. It was a horrific crash involving a suspect about 100 yards from where I live. He was only 32 years old and leaves behind a wife and child. God Bless the young men and women who serve to protect us! Thanks for looking your kind comments on my previous images.

A very fitting tribute. I have much respect and honor for those who put their lives on the line for us day by day. With this thought in mind I didn't even have a problem with getting a ticket the other day...first one in years:)

That's not the type of "first" anybody wants to be. I feel bad for his family. The flowers do add a bit of joy to the somber event and I'm sure he would be happy to see how much people cared.

only 32 years....sad very sad loss of a young boy life, I know personally what it is, I had a brother full of life who died at 25 years old,some times I look at the sky asking why, why Lord ? it is hard, very hard, wonderful tribute Maria !

I echo all the preceding comments, Maria. Unfortunately, here in Southern California we have many police officers either killed, injured or wounded in line of duty.

Sadly society this side of the Atlantic is sliding into chaos also.... with no respect for elders, authority, or the emergency services. i am sorry for the familys loss
