Hello dear Friends
This is (hopefully) my 'comeback' after quite a long absence. I missed you all.
This image was captured in Botswana on our way to Namibia. It is a 22hr road trip to where we went and this was day one. This is basically the northern part of the Kalahari Desert. Both deserts (Kalahari & Namib) had fantastic rain this year (in their terms) and the grass and flowers were magnificent. We were even driving through the occasional storm! I clicked this image when we made a quick stop to stretch legs. Why the title... If you are interested then read on.
I missed you all and will try my best to be visible and active on a more regular basis from now on!

Wow, and good! You're finally back after a much too lengthy absence! You were sorely missed! Now, just a hint that you have a lot of catching up to do, hopefully in my gallery. In any event, you have presented us here with a marvelous study in vertical shafts of light, and a mist-created rainbow, coyly dwelling behind a raw and lovely foreground of wild grasses and trees.

Oh Carin what a marvel of a shot!... And yes I know about this beeing seperated and it's not an a nice feeling, so I hope you have time to phone or skype at least (my phone bill shot up to 450 euro within one week only beeing seperated from my love, before I had to cut it down....sigh) and I wish you and Bruce all the best for this tough time.
