Description
ok having a little remembrance here, guys bare with me, a romantic interlude. This is a creative license. I tried to do an image of my first love. I was 15 she 14. I tried to envision her at around 24,25. Taking the image I had (have) of her. aging it as I saw in my minds eye.
First my view on love:
Love is; falling in love with an image, and respecting, and caring for that person long after the image has faded.
As Shakespeare wrote " One never forgets their first love, unless they were true." Well Sherrie Marshal and I never got the chance to know weather or not it would have grown into anything.
Sad but true: Sherrie's family was moving out of town (L.A. area.) On her way to give me their new address and phone number, my best friend not knowing she was moving, decided to pull a practical joke. Meeting her at the bottom of our hill. He told her I didn't want to see her, and that he was sent to break it off. It was nearly an hour later that I was told this. I ran to her old house as fast as my legs could carried me, only to find an empty home. I never seen or heard from My Sherrie again. So Sherrie if you see this, it wasn't me, and even today some 45 years later, you still own a large portion of my heart.
Sherrie Marshal, Thousand Oaks, California, 1965.

The flowers are so lovely, as is the lady. Such a sad tale and a mean prank for someone to play on you. A lost opportunity gone forever.
