Description
Looking down the beach at Watmough Bay on Lopez Island. For those of you who don't live near the beach, the water would be to your left. You can tell because of the slope of the land. :)
It was pouring down rain, but we had a fantastic time!

The diagonal perspective on the logs adds depth to this secluded spot on the beach. Great colors and textures on the wood.

really fine Tara. I live off of Lake Michigan, and believe it or not when you go north (into northern Wisconsin & Michigan) you see bluffs like this, and the slopes can be dramatic. The image has fine detail in the logs & rocks in foreground, the beach in mid-ground, and that wonderful precipice of trees & greenery in the background. A real symphony of textures. And not getting any sky makes it seem 'enclosed', even though, in person, it was probably quite sweeping. Beautiful, makes me want to be there...
