they never stop in your gallery...the clouds running into the trees make a scene of emerging fine lines, almost like the lines in a Japanese print, or better, the tree-lines of Chinese landscapes where they surround the trees with mist to represent the Tao, the spirit. Yet the mist has an enamel feeling too, almost like pearl, ie, the whites are tactile and deep. A sensitive play of fine lines against deep whites (there's a white area in the left half, between the 1st & 2d trees from the left, that has wonderful breaks of white in it, like the surface of a complex wall). And you have color in the lower right corner. 3's maybe, light-line-color...perhaps. Whatever it is, it's complex & simple at the same time, and beautiful.
