My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

really nice detail, tara, and it's only through your friend's gallery (Marilyn) that I even learned about madrona. it's amazing how it can look painted or varnished, its natural resins are so strong. Nice that you captured it next to an older chunk of wood too, like they're old companions lying down for a chat. Nice angle too, nice capture.
