Description

I decided to put up another shot today, which shows the inside of the cloister and the fountainhouse with a beautiful magnolia tree aside, which unfortunately was not blooming the time I was there. As you can see this part of the cloister is in full gothic style with wonderful windows in different types. I decided to put this one up today too, because tomorrow it will be the unique view inside the fountain house, a view Maulbronn is famous for.

This is a wonderful site and complex of buildings...and was intrigued enough to search my Phaidon guides..and found the monastery in the German guide. i look forward to tomorrow's upload. Today's is very fine.
