Description

I downloaded the latest Tech Preview and started experimenting; this is one of my oldest terrains, revamped a little with some of the new bells and whistles in this version. My newly upgraded computer even rendered it faster...I might have to do this more often. Terragen Tech Preview; atmo 64 bit, clouds 24 bit, 4 surfaces with fractal power shaders plus a strata shader. Pretty nice terrain. Good colors. Clouds are believable (so much tadoo about clouds nowadays, eh?) and the lighting is good.

Damn! That's a lot of detail- looks like a photo; something right out of the Badlands of South Dakota. The UV haze is very realistic as well for such a long field of view- definately a render to be very proud of!
