Description

A companion to my previous render "Blown". Looks like I'm on a TG kick again. Terragen Tech Preview, minor post in Photoshop. The terrain is "Jade" available at my website. Thanks for views and any comments.

Quite an epic scene- like the last resembling the Badlands - this one with a more angry sky! Like an aerial photo- but more intense than reality- quite a beautiful render!

Superb surfaces and I like the layered look...very natural and realistic...the rays are great and I like the clouds though they seem a bit illustrated rather than real...still, an excellent image!

Maybe i fail, but in any way the light beams looks unreal, because from left to right they all goes exactly into the same direction ?

@Medevial- yes, I see what you mean. It could be that the cloud deck is very close to the terrain, and I should reduce the size of the sun disc itself.

Looking real fine Paul. If it available in your version. I wold like to see the soft shadows enabled with a diameter setting of about 0.7; also, a render using the 'cubic spline' which adds a bit so softness.
