That is a phenomenal loss Richard. My heart goes out to you. It's a sobering reminder of how vulnerable one is to these kinds of crimes. I hope you will find the necessary detachment and equanimity to make it through this tough time my friend! Your excellent photo here strikes me as a possible metaphor for how to look at the entire matter. Hoping your Easter goes well!

Stunning motif, and brilliant shot, Richard. That theft was a nasty Easter present.... Hopefully insurance cover most.. But it's a disaster with your 60GB images..nuttin can cover that. Happy Easter any way.

It's a great thing you can still feel beauty and appreciate the awesomeness of that part of the world - in spite of what happened. Unfortunately as the economy drops, the bad side of human nature will be more evident for quite a while, I'm afraid....

You do not say, but hopefully you were not home or harmed when the break-in occured. I wish you a speedy recovery of your possessions and quick justice for the perpetrators. It is most sobering to realize we are vulnerable, I wish you to receive back your feeling of safety and stabilink ity...I know they've stolen more than irreplaceable files. I think you posted this shot for more than the excellent photographic value... it is very representative of how you are feeling I am sure~ (((((((((hugstoyou))))))))))

Hey, Richard, it feels like a hole as big as window rock. It's devastating. You still have 100% of your great talent, though, and a new perspective on it and its value as it compares to the things will come out of this dark time. Excellent image.

OMG! I am so sorry to hear that Richard! Someone broke into my apartment some years ago and took all the money in my purse and the bank bag for the apartments. It was well hidden but they knew on a Sunday I could not deposit so the money had to be there. I felt so violated that I had to buy a new purse and no one could touch it and bought a floor safe hidden in my closet. I hope they find who did this and get your items back!!! Love this picture, I have heard of it before but had not seen it. May your Easter Sunday be blessed and peaceful!
