Description

Hi Friends I am so afraid that I am starting to bore you senseless with all the landscapes!!! Here is yet another one! This image was taken from more or less the same viewpoint as the one a couple of days ago - just 180 degrees around. The lichen covered rocks in the foreground are followed by salt pans (found everywhere along the skeloton coast) and the ocean is just not visible on the horizon. It is the vast emptiness that touches me most here in the Namib Desert. A place where your soul can come to rest. Thank you so much for your comments and favs on my upload of the ocean view last night. You guys all rock! Take care. Hugs, Carin xx

It is stunning the senses once Bruce is measured for scale. Time must have forgotten about this place. Great capture Carin!

Superb colours and textures on the rocks Carin, the whole scene is really beautiful. The vastness is highlighted by how small Bruce looks.

I don't find these boring at all, and they show how the themes of our mother earth repeat all over the world, and yet each place remains completely unique. GORGEOUS!!!!

Vast is the word that comes to mind first. A handsome jumble of rocks. Unseen here. No boredom at all:)

Fascinating image, Carin!! Sandy desert behind, ocean in front and in the foreground a miniature world full of growth of all kind! Isn't Nature grand?!

Superlative DOF, POV, and a gorgeous striation of color and textural effects in this capture, depicting the separation of sky, ocean and foreground rocks of awesome structure, Carin! As for your Bruce, I've scanned the beach with ancient eyes, and may or may not have sighted him. And, as yet, I'm not bored by your land and oceanscapes.
