Description

Hello ! I found this little old watercolor, the other day. Made in 1978 of an old house near by. The house is not there anymore. Now is another and more modern house, but still something in same style. Thanks for your kind comments to my previous post and special warm thanks to thos who added it to favorites :-) Have a great day. Here it starts a little cloudy, but calm and no wind. I see the sun is soon coming through the thin layer of clouds :-)

It's such a charming work, Helle. You show such a simple & playful sense here. The trees feel 'thought' on, and the house is captured with such simple grace. It's such a quiet little delight. And you make background trees with delicate little washes. This is a simple painting of a simple house, and it has all it needs, nothing more, and it's just delightful. How nice of you to post something 30 years old! Like Andrea says, it's so important to keep those works; and like Suzanne & Martin says, you were an artist from birth. Lovely. I just love this side to you...
