Description
This is the result of an overnight render approx 16hrs, created with Mojo Pro & Volumetrics Plugin by D Lavrov.
The worldfile started from Octoganoids "Rocky Coasts" but then I ended up completely re-creating the large terrain & just tweaking the waters. Small snapshots gave some interesting views & I loved this spot for its contrasting shadows, smooth/roughness.
I did contemplate postworking some vegetation in but nothing seemed to fit.
Contrast & sharpness tweaked with framing & text in Ulead Photoimpact11.

--- I pull a few more shots from this environment yet & as always I`ll continue tweaking away. So constructive crits are welcomed :)

You're right about the interesting shadows and terrain, cool location, great job. You know I don't know much but I would try to increase Transparency and maybe decrease Murkiness of the water and try to see what's underneath, that's just me though. Peace

Cheers Len...Normally you would be correct..but Volumetrics has no Transparency so I cant :( However I could have done 2 renders & faked the transparency into a single render...but at 16hrs for one....I have less patience :)) Thx for looking & constructive comment.

I like the lighting&shadows here... To create realistic water using a Volumetrics -really hard :(. Very nice work Warren!

It's the interesting foreground, the bold shapes and the strong light/shadow that carry this image...no need for vegetation IMHO....but for me the clouds don't live up to the rest of the image...a cloudless deeper blue sky might have worked well for this shot.... That said, it's still an Excellent shot Woz.

Good point Jeff....I agree :)

I love those lower rocks in the water. Very successful considering there is not any water transparency. Also, the lighting and shadows in this are cool. Looks like a kind of GI effect.

I would probably change the water pattern, but nice image nonetheless.
