Description

There are all kinds of little places like this along the bay--you can just stop and sit and take it all in.

it's really nice that these benches exist. The bench and immediate surroundings are in light here, and they feel very warm as a result. You caught a lot of light in the center of the bench, and I like the yellow all around it too. It's a nice bench too—you gave us a little of its curves & insignia, etc. Very nice shot, Marilyn. I'd love to see it in person, near the water...

Looks like it has two little brass plaques...memorials probably? Neat place with a cozy feel.

That's one of the things I love about this coast...there are paths along the cliffs and places to sit along the way. Great shot.

Super POV used to capture the colors, lighting and textural effects in this snap, Marilyn. Since the bench looks in such fine fettle, all clean and shiny like that, I wouldn't hesitate one moment sitting on it, so I might contemplate my place in the universe amidst all that serenity.

I wonder how long this old bench has been there and how many visitors it has seen. It looks well worn an the area is not over grown.

This is so gorgeously rustic. It has an almost antique feel to it as well. Great shot, perfectly centered. What really rocks about this is the mood you captured, though; it's quiet and elegant. As always, you caught the colors here fabulously, as you always do. Your colors are always so vivid and rich and at times, crystalline, and that works so perfectly here, especially with the part of the bench that looks as if it's been worn by people sitting on it. Great stuff, as always.
