Hello All it’s been a little strange around here the last 2 months. I’ve been dodging lay offs at my new job of 3 months. Last week I zigged when I should have zagged and I was given my walking papers. I fill blessed thou I made it through 3 lay offs before they finally got to me I guess I can now truly be called a starving artist, LOL. This is my oldest grandson Billy on his last trip to grandpas; we were at Lake Arbuckle and were practicing throwing rocks in the water. He was getting pretty good at it before we left. Beautiful portrait. Sorry to hear about the job situation. These things always happen for a reason. That sounds like a tired old saying, but when I look back through my life, its been the trials that have made the tribulations so interesting. It seldom feels like it at the time though! I was offered the dreaded 'package' a few years back in a completely different field of work than what I do now, but I never would have found what I do now (which I really enjoy) if I hadn't had that little push.
