Description

Another shot from the backyard, this Red-bellied Woodpecker had just visited the knothole that I keep birdseed in. He had strategically placed his seed behind a piece of bark before making his way on up the tree. I wonder if they really can remember just where they had there food but they spend the day gathering and hiding and entertaining me, LOL. A special thanks to Firesnuffer for taking his time to teach an old dog a new trick or two or three or four well you get the picture, LOL.
