More birds from the bay--though these egrets look for all the world like they're ice skating!!

Yes they do seem like theyre on ice (or walking on water) and I don't know how they do that! Lots of nice space, and a luminous surface of water; and you got those beautiful violet light-lines (or reflections) in the upper quarter of the shot: Those are beautiful. A very peaceful & rich-hued shot. Nice to start a day with.

Vivid colors abound in this splendid capture of what could be easily mistaken for an oil painting, Marilyn. Don't the egrets' tootsies ever get cold while cavorting about the ice?
