Description
Captured 4/16/09, just a few hours ago at 7:45 AM, right outside of my condo complex.
Ergo, this is hot right out of the memory card.
You've heard of the legendary and irresponsible fly-by-night, well, this is a fly-by-light, essentially because other than the original foto on top, I used the Photoshop lighting effects filter to display the light source moving clockwise, generally from the north, the east, the south, and from the west in this sequence of pictures.
A ZOOM will substantially improve your viewing capabilities.
Incidentally, for the flora mavens, the rose is of the floribunda variety, and makes a perfect surrounding for the insect, which was most cooperative and gracious in posing for this shoot.
Thankx for the visit, and have a temperate Thursday.

as we used to say, "outa sight!" (There's no pun there...) I didn't realize it was the same flower until I read your description: And the rotating 'quarter-hours' workâthey really highlight a different part of the flower. And the fly doesn't change a bit, doesn't say hi, take a bow, wave...And the top one, out of the card, has a multiplicity of light on it, very nice. A fine shot of a flower (with visitor), and lots of fun.

Very close work indeed, and what a pure white on this rose! The fly accentuates the whiteness of the lovely rose. Nice, Harry.
