Description
Captured 3/25/09, very early in the morning, within walking distance of my downcast dwelling.
Displayed are two separate lilies, each photographed employing two different POVs. The top lily has an unusually flat, wide spathe, and the little flecks of coconut on the spadix add another point of interest to the image. Note the change of shadow color in the bottom lily after the slight variance in POV.
In any event, I'm confident Katherine Hepburn would be thrilled with this.

Stunning set of images of this glorious canna lilies Harry with the bottom 2 images my favs!!! I just love them... don't know about there, but here we also get them in a yellow variety as well as pink and green... Well done indeed! :)

I can definitely see the difference in color here; and the textures of the petals are very vivid full-view, as is the terrific "powdered candy" look of the spadix—these look like snacks sold in a white tissue, they're very edible looking. A beautiful foursome, and as always—when viewed full view—you manage to get a big bold overall blast of light & color, and much intimate detail right alongside it. Fine montage once again. You do flowers well!
