Description

Tall White Lady struggled to find the closure on the coat she acquired as she asked,"So you come from a SPECIES that is completely ungrateful? Girl, just for giving me that weak excuse, I ought to slap the crap out of you! If you had an butt, I'd kick it!" The Measure stopped and caused her 'centaur' vehicle to disappear after it knelt down. Her helmet followed and she made her back-unit to fade as well. She turned on TWL and glared at her. She shouted,"Leave the Naga out of this!" TWL pointed at her,"I CAN'T! You can't! You were raised by your mother until age seven, then abandoned when she dumped you here, to run off--SOMEWHERE! Every time you mention her, I can feel the anger you have toward her!" "Listen telepath! I'm a Neutralizer! You can't read my mind! You don't know anything!" The Measure was red in the face and her movements were jerky. TWL calmed herself. She said more reasonably,"I don't have to use telepathy. Your face and body told me. Your tears speak volumes of pain. Your mother WILL NOT be proud of you for NOT saying 'thank you'! You are HERE. She is NOT. Do you understand?" Measure clenched hr fists and gritted out,"Thank you for saving me from death and the isolation hell I was in." TWL laughed at the Measure,"Wow. THAT was worth it. JUST like pulling teeth!" TWL rolled her eyes and froze with a muttered,"Oh...crapo." Measure wheeled in time to see the old Imperial Horus class dropship set down a hundred meters ahead of them on a cracked clay flat basin. The ramp dropped and two figures strolled out onto it with casual slowness. The man waved to them. Measure looked and said in a low tone,"The human Colonial Command said it'd be hours before they could pick us up." TWL gritted her teeth and said angrily,"That is Aldus Panchetta! He broke Princess Safira's heart! Bastard!" Measure exclaimed,"ALDUS? Here? Come on!" She slid off toward the craft with speed. TWL called after her,"I need to take a pee, before I get onboard. Those things have lousy bathroom arrangements." Measure called back over a shoulder,"Hurry up! I'll be over there." She paid no more attention to the tall telepath as she slid on. TWL shook her head and muttered,"How does he rank 'rockstar' status with her? Crazy genetic engineering backstabbing bastard cuckold. Knock up Safira and abandon her with child? BASTARD." TWL clicked the ceramic combat knife off her thigh and slid it into her coat and clicked the sheathed knife into a place inside of it. She scanned the pair. She frowned. "Can't feel or hear anything from them. Measure's too close. Dammit. Fine." TWL swore to herself, Aldus Panchetta wasn't going to 'play' anyone around her again. Especially not herself NOR Measure. --TO BE CONTINUED!!--
