After a little pause due to me beeing so happy I cought the little woodpecker it's back to Maulbronn for the rest of the tour...smile
This is inside the church looking from the monks choir to the alter. Cistercian churches were divided into two parts. From the entrance up to the middle, where a wall seperated the monks coir from the place where the laybrothers gathered. This shot was taken behind the wall in the monks choir, where you can see the dark choir stalls to the left and the right.
