Description
With the wonderful variety of Pansies and Violas we have now, I still love the simple beauty of the wild ones. This is from my local nature reserve, a new one to my local wild flower folder with it being the white form. The whole plant was less than 3" high, taken with the little compact with me horizontal again.

I dont know why my text didn't appear when I posted this? It is my first entry of the year to my local wild flowers folder. The total plant was under 3" high. Taken on my little compact camera at the nature reserve. I think the wild forms of violas look so delicate yet they are among the first to brave the cold spring weather.
