Description

I've captured this shot but I've hit a stumbling block...."what to put on the plateaus?" I toyed with vegetation or dysotopia bldgs or even a landing pad for sci-fi craft but at current nothing seems to go right. So Ive posted this up to see if anyone has any ideas?! Anyone can have an idea so if you looked, please post, thanks :) TFV&C Wºz™ FSV recommended. Created with Mojo Pro + Volumetrics plugin by D Lavrov.

Nice job! How about Quetzalcoatlus or one of the other flying dinosaurs? Set i tup as a nesting area...

FAO Jeff: re Tyridain Gorge: ...the clouds don't live up to the rest of the image...a cloudless deeper blue sky might have worked well for this shot.... This was taken pre your comment hence why the clouds are still in there. Im contemplating a cloudless deeper Blues tone :)

Perhaps a city and a garden joined by a bridge.

NOt sure it needs anything, to be honest. The way the plateaus lean is pretty much perfect to go with the clouds. If you have anything on top, that symmetry might break and you'll end up without that glorious effect... That is top work!

I think leviatham is right, but some ptero's above the water could be cool. Great render Warren!

Nicely done, the angularity of the formations are striking along with the rough rocky shallows. Seems too Low and unprotected for a Nesting place however, Possibly something needing a Bridge...Hangar Bay on one, Pad on the other. Until you decide just put up a Huge "This Space for Rent" Sign, LoL Peaqce

Cracking WIP. I'm with Lyron, you need something to link them. Some sort of futuristic buildings with minimal detail might work? I don't know much about Mojoworld, but this is very impressive.

Agree with Bob, unless you do it really well. I think the general large scale forms of this planet could be made more interesting. More variations maybe. However this has many tremendous elements. Water, lower rocks, surfaces and lighting are great. Clouds are fine in my opinion. they are something different.

Excellent work Woz...The formations, the mats, water and lighting are perfect IMHO....and though I thought the clouds didn't work in the last one,I reckon they work spot on for this image...there's a nice sorta ying/yang thing going on between the terrain & the clouds.......As for the plateaus....I first thought I would probably have tried postworking in a building/structure of some sort(the outer surface being the same as the land mats....subtle use of the clone brush could be a way to do this)...the building would have the same tilt as the terrain/mats....quirky,I know...but there you go.....But...I do tend to agree with Bob & efflux...breaking up those bold shapes could be a mistake man.
