Description

This dedication is for Ines (mininessie) who is one of the kindest and most gentle ladies in the gallery. She is a dear friend and her gallery is a perfect example of her kind and caring nature. Ines is multi talented and her gallery contains photos, paintings, digital art along with her own creations. It is a great place to visit and I feel safe letting my youngest niece Aschlynn look at it. Ines asked if I would bring a special memory to life for her and told me not to worry about sharing it. After hearing her story I was moved and wanted to be sure and share it with my friends. Mighty Mouse (For Mininessie): When Ines was a very little girl her family lived in the country in a very large house. She loved her Grandfather so much and was very close to him. One day he came home and found Ines outside playing. He nealt down beside her and placed his hand upon the ground. When he moved it Ines saw a little toy mouse with wheels beneath it. She stared at amazement at the precious new toy as he gently placed a string in her hand so she could pull it. Their cat stared on in shock as Ines began to pull her little mouse all around. While this may sound like a simple memory to some it is one of her first and most happy memories that she still cherishes to this day. I just wanted a chance to bring it to life for my dear friend and I am grateful she allowed me to do it. Thanks, Dave

I used to have a childhood friend by the name of Ines in grammar school. This is a very cherished memory, and we all have a few of them from our youngest days. God bless Ines, and also you, Dave, for bringing this memory to us.

A most enchanting and joyful illustration of your friend's childhood recollection, Dave! We also used to have such toy mice at home when I was a kid, and that would baffle and irritate nearly all the successive cats my parents fed during my childhood and teenage years !...I very much like the angle with which you set the scene for your composition. Excellent work, my friend !

While that is a great story, what really got my attention is that Dad there looks EXACTLY like my great 'nuncle Bill...right down to the checkered shirt! (I am not kidding!)
