Description

This is one of the heifers I saw at the weekend. Yes I know I am biased but I really do think the Jersey cow is the most pretty of all cows! You may well ask - can a cow be pretty? Yes of course it can lol. Besides the fly that is bothering her, I love the way her eyes are framed by "eye liner" and those lashes are every girls dream :) Hope you enjoy, not everyone's "cup of tea" but thanks for viewing. Thank you for your comments on my previous post and to those who made it a favourite. Susan "Being watched!!!"thumb_1869129.jpg

They are a soft and gentle breed. They all look female they are so delicate (I'm sure the bulls would take offense at that). Lovely eye shot.

I love those eyes! Having been raised on a farm the animals of course were up close and personal and I grew quickly to learn to look into their beautiful eyes. One can almost see their soul. Superb capture and I love the title Susan!

'My cup of Tea'! When I was a child, I always wondered how animals could see what is infront, with their eyes on either side. A shot like this would have helped me at that time to get the answer. How interesting is their formation. Nice Shot. Not to mention your previous shot was an 'eye candy'!

I agree with you, and to see them in Jersey is a dream. I was there many years ago, and really admired those beautiful cows and their charming eyes. This is a fabulous capture, and 2 for the price of one with the fly too LOL. Great shot Susan, hugs Jane xx
