Description

FINALLY! I can throw the mouse away now. I got a WACOM graphic tablet (9x12)! This sketch is my first attempt at creating an illustration with Painter 7 and my grphic tablet. It took me 6 hours to reach this stage. Most of the image is still in the sketching stages. I hope to have it finished within 2 weeks.

YES the tablet.. almost like wood n paper! Like this.. reminds me of some Japanese guy.. cant remember his name. Do ya not find it a bit skiddy though? Nice work

This is some beautiful work! Style reminds me of Jeff Easley an artist for TSR Dragonlance. This makes me want to give my tablet a try again :) thanks for sharing it with us.

Thank you guys for your encouraging comments! :) The original size is 2000x1500. But I will probably enlarge it and add details later on. For now, I am concentrating on composition and lighting. It is all drawn from scratch, no references. I will post a close-up as soon.
