Description
In a postwar era where most are fortunate to have any living relatives, Lt. Ever Seiyama retreats to the rooftops, longing for the family that recently abandoned her by choice. Capt. Dina Campbell, her mentor since the war, offers words of encouragement.
Still making snippets of a Macross story in no particular order yet, still living with bad cloth textures that I don't have time to fix yet, and no joy on the matmatic Loom yet because RDNA has broken ALL of the links associated with it. Still working out the kinks of the dynamic clothes...
And OMG SHOES!!
Poser Pro, Skysphere and HDRI lighting from Vue.
*Edit: cobaltdream is right about the light, but instead of changing it, I flipped the sky to match the lighting.

I'd LOVE to see this story line continue. Great lighting and shadow effects. I really like how the clouds and sky add realism to the scene. I wouldn't be too hard on yourself, I think the clothing looks good!

really good work. i really still find that hair so bad it's jarring (it to me, looks like a really bad wig about to fall off, not "extreme"), but you have to go with what you like. the poses are great, and the expression is good. on the issue of the clothes: don't be afraid to have more than one group. for instance, to make a jumpsuit with a strap top, i had a top with really high friction and very little stretch, and bottoms with low friction and medium stretch. and you can use thin soft decorated groups to mimic the effect of seams. right now, your clothes are behaving like they're really thin and seamless, and if you want them to behave as if they're more structured, you can make different dynamic groups for the sleeves, top half of the top, and bottom half of the top, and soft decorated groups for the areas where you would expect seams and darts. the only other suggestion i'd have is to match your light to your background. your scene has light coming from the right and to the front of the figures, and yet the sun is very clearly behind the clouds and the figures to our left. overall, nice work!

The scene is superb. Extremely realistic, their clothes seem a photograph. The light is natural, soft and warm, really different from the usual "Poser flat lights". And... the shoes! ;-) (very nice BTW!)
