Description
These are the first geese with goslings I have seen this year. There seems to be two pairs with chicks all together, one of the perants was out of shot.
Taken on my campact camera, I am finding it very frustrating with the shutter lag, compared to an SLR. These cameras make taking shots of moving subjects difficult. You press the shutter and it has moved so far by the time it is captured!

There are one or two downsides to a pocket camera, but at least it is ALWAYS with you! A most delightful shot!

Really lovely capture. I have seen families of geese, especially Canada geese, sharing parenthood. Perhaps it is a safety in numbers sort of thing. ^-^

We had this breed of goose for pets long ago. Very friendly and brave, the best watch guards you could want too. Still a very nice photo if not the way you wanted it. Well done
