Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

ladies in the bath! Lovely pic. I've lost my white one, can't find it anywhere, could be dead or just buried in weeds!

Good heavens, what hath God wrought this time? Pink baby terrapins hanging from a clothes line? You've done it again, wonderfully captured another of nature's wonders, and in a most stellar manner, Marilyn!

My neighbor has some of these altho not yet this far along here in the NorthEast. Very well done capture and I like the new warm weather Marilyn avatar.

Great shot of these bleeding heart flowers! I love 'em. You make me think I should go outside and see if mine are in bloom yet! :)

Gorgeous! I love this whole image. As always, the colors jump out and grab the eye rather seductively, and the whole composition is top notch. It's funny but these kinds of flowers always remind me of the sorts of costumes worn in a really extravagant production put on my the Bolshoy Ballet--or like something worn in the grossly under-recgonized film, The Fifth Element. At any rate, there's a subtle extravagance here that I just love.
