Designed by the architect Balat (Victor Horta's teacher), these greenhouses are one of ' most remarkable monuments. This magic place will please both aficionados of 19th century architecture and green-fingered plant enthusiasts. These highly impressive greenhouses with their soaring ironwork are home to a wide range of flora and many rare species.

This is a gorgeous building. I've seen something like it although smaller in San Francisco. It is so good to see it thriving in the purpose for which it was built in the 19th century. Well done.
