Description

This B-17G 'Nine O Nine' (foreground) and B-24J 'Witchcraft' are part of the 20th Annual Wings of Freedom Tour of the Collings Foundation. The tour visits 130 cities. Rides on these aircraft can be arranged for $425/1/2hr, tax deductible. This picture was taken at the Scottsdale, Arizona Airport from a second floor office window. It is a four picture panoramic. Need I say it? I love this...going in my favorites. Now, since I've been fiddling with panoramics myself lately, did you take your four photos in landscape or portrait mode? If in landscape, which we usually think about, if this was in portrait, I'll bet you would have gotten all of the B-17 in the foreground. If you used portrait...then shut my mouth:-) One way or the other, this is an excellent panorama.
