Description

Altho this old 'rust bucket,' named the Mary Celeste (not to be confused with the 19th century merchant vessel) has seen better days and needs a bit of work, she mysteriously heads out from port every day to the open waters of the bay with no one aboard her. Looks like a storm is gathering overhead. Once again, the steamer portion of Phillip Drawbridge's 'Flying Steamer' model. All mattes are mine. Best viewed full size for the rust effect. Bryce 6.1 Frame and lettering PhotoScape 3.3 Thanks for viewing and commenting. It's greatly appreciated.

Great rust effects, Keith. I'm not sure I would trust the sea- and/or airworthiness of the vessel...

Wasn't the Mary Celeste the ship that all the passengers disapeared from with out a trace? Great render

I'm impressed with the texture work in this one Keith, much better than the one's it came with. Nice looking subtle colours in the sky as well. As grafikeer says, those props will sure create some choppy waters and move the ship swiftly through the waters. Tony.

A really nice calm scene, Keith, with great light and composition. The idea of the gathering storm ads an air of mystery to the seemingly deserted craft. Perhaps you could use a few of your interesting waterfall effects in Bryce to churn the water up a little bit?

I always tend to create my models with simple textures so that people aren't afraid to experiment, and you've proved my point. All six are great renders and you've done a great job. Maybe you should try my submarine. ;-)
