Description


This TP-51C of the Collings Foundation Wings of Freedom Tour is taxiing for takeoff at the Glendale, Arizona airport. This TP-51C is the world's only dual control P-51C. It has a Rolls Royce Merlin Packard-built engine. A 1/2 hr ride costs $2200. A view of the P-51s that came off the production line were modified to two-seaters and were used as highspeed transports for VIP! This picture was taken on 22 April 2009.
