Description

Ultra Fractal 5.02, with four layers (excluding the initials and year). Fewer layers than yesterday's experiment, but with the same formulas used (mt.ucl, Advanced Gnarl for the background, and Kerry's on the upper three). Critically, I succeeded in changing the basic circular shape though this is expressed on just the one layer (the largest shape). Essentially the centre of that shape is now filled and enables a different kind of colour interplay. The central design is a part of that shape. With the basic design set I then experimented with the colourings and actually rendered ten images to disc before choosing to show this, the flatest of them all. It might be of interest to show say two of the others and this I'll try to do before the weekend. Fractal art is, in my view, all about thinking your way to conclusions. It is a cooperation between programme and the human mind. The subtle manifestations of colour have a profound effect on the result and can induce very different moods or feelings, many of which are ill-expressed in words. Do I talk too much? Obviously! Cliff.
