Description
This was taken at High Cliff State Park from the observation tower. My boyfriend and my niece got me up there. I am extremely afraid of heights. We are talking complete panic attack. I was so scared up there and trying to be very brave in front of my niece who really looks up to me. I seriously thought they were going to have to call the fire department to get me down.
Needless to say I steadied myself enough to get a really great shot of Lake Winnebego looking to the northwest. Lake Winnebego is the largest inland lake that is not a great lake.

Ok, I'm the boyfriend, you wouldn't believe what it took just to get her to climb a few steps, in a perfectly safe tower.....in fact I'm still paying for this, although it was almost nine months ago!! As awesome as this shot is, she was still two decks down from the top. You can see the curvature of the lake in this shot. but from the top, taken right, you can see barely, the curvature of the world!! Maybe this year, ....I'm going to blindfold her first!!!!
