He thought is would be really cute to get her to do this. Toward the end of our safari they started passing out hand sanitizer, because the Giraffes mouth is one of the dirties of all the animals. They use their tounges to clean out their noses. EWE Honey!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, you know...there is something to be said for germ-swapping. One of the benefits is a form of homeostasis...but alas, that only works within one species. Anyway...aside from that...great detail! I love the hairs on the giraffe's muzzle and the blue tongue. Fantastic shot!

Well I've seen you in various galleries but I never got around to yours, at least not much, but that's only because I never get to tons of galleries, I miss a ton (and then I was away for 2 months), but I'm sure you'd want people to find you because of your most monumental city shot, or the greatest sunset ever captured...instead I come here to see your husband courting a giraffe! Great shot, really fine detail on both species (lol) and a beautiful sunny light all around it. I've never seen a giraffe twist around like that, but then I haven't seen too many giraffes. Well it's always nice to make friends on vacations! Terrific shot...really nice clarity & closeup. I'll be back for more.
