My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Nicely done. But where is the rain??? ;)

FANTASTIC!! We took a vacation to the Olympic Mountains and we saw nothing but rain and clouds. One day we had a brief 2 minute view of 2 mountain tops and that was it. It was rather disappointing but it gives us a good excuse to go back.

Absolutely astonishing, Tara! What a great job you did here, I am SO impressed. And it is just marvellous to see what you saw. I used to draw views like this from my imagination, fed by National Geographic images, when I was a child, but your photo is somehow more real that those photos by nameless strangers.

Fantastic scenery!

Tara, this rates a triple WOW...that's as in, Wow, Wow, Wow. You've both captured a rare scene thanks to a break in prevailing weather and done this manually??? Looks like a faultless job. My father used to go to a dentist who did panoramas...these make fascinating things to have printed (I know, who prints photos much anymore?), framed and hung either on your wall or as a gift for that hard to buy for friend. Or, you could trot down to your local market and even sell them. You could call this your money shot!

I trusted you and the zoom is fantastic! I am very much on the lookout for an affordable and cool old house in Oregon or Washington. It's so beautiful there and my favorite weather is grey rainy days:)

Yes it was worth the big view. Excellent!

Such a wide panorama and only a solitary bird, one that adds to the overall view though. You did an excellent job of hand stitching, very impresive. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!! Fav
