Description
Since many years the various French trade-unions held separate demonstrations for the Labour Day, May 1st. But with the crisis that left 2.5 million workers unemployed and more and more factories closing each day, plus a very conservative government, the unions made the choice of demonstrating together. 1.2 million people were in the streets asking for social change.
Techdata: Olympus Camedia C5050 at shortest focal length, 7.1mm (24x36 equiv. 35mm), 1/400s at f/5.6, aperture priority automatic, auto white balance, 64 ISO. Radial blur added in Photoshop CS3 Extended under Dynamic Filter mode to prevent people being recognized, use of the Filtering Mask to reduce the blur on the balloons, enhancement of colors through a Hue/Saturation Layer.
I apologize for my friends and for people who enjoy my work that since more than two months I have neither posted nor commented. This was the result of a lot of occupations, both professional (with my comics) and familial ones. I am deeply willing to return more at Renderosity, but I do not know when I will find more time to do that, in spite of the fact that I have tons of pictures ready to post since months and often since years!…

Wonderful France! 1,2 million people are demonstrating in the streets for a better social standard! WOW, this is great! Germany, the country of the Sleeping Michel, should learn about a lot, it is not time for sleeping, it is time for fighting, it is time for a revolution! Today in Berlin we have the "1st May riots". What is this? This is a fight of Berlins young people against the police to beat them up and let them pay for all restrictions and all things who went bad in the rest of the year! This is a "good old tradition" since 25 years. The whole city is shivering some weeks before, and the media pack is waiting for good pics and stories.... In this moment the riots are fully in action and they need more then 5000 policemen to control the streets - with an open end.... What I think about? I´m proud about, that MY city has an so agressive potential to fighting back 5000 policemen! We germans are a country of sleeping Michels, we don`t like revolutions...and if one there, we by a ticket to reach the place...... I hope we wake up in the near future to send this pack of politicians and banksters to hell! This is the right place for this scum!

To all my friends and people who favor my work: sorry that I could neither post nor comment for several months, now I will be lacking all the August month for health reasons with my mother (her main problem is that she is VERY old, LOL, so I have to help her during my sister's holidays). Hope to be back at Renderosity in September! I took recently much pleasure with a fisheye lens, so I will show you some of these funny images, and comic drawings too. Happy summer for all… and happy winter for you who are living in the Southern hemisphere too!

@Elcet, It's wonderful, that French people so social-active (I don't now, how to write it in English. I mean, they can gather together to ask the government, do something, etc.). In our country people became passive and apolitical.......that's bad.(( And good effect! Looks like illusion of movement! P.S. We all are waiting for you here, on Renderosity!
