Based on “The Final Moment” lithograph by Roy Grinnell. BB39 Arizona (with AR Vestal alongside), BB43 Tennessee, and BB48 West Virginia are among eight battleships tied up on the south side of Ford Island that were attacked on Sunday morning December 7th , 1941. or like the mighty ships of Tarshish being shattered by a powerful east wind.
