Description

J.S.'s astrocargo had just taken off, when Adam blurted; "Why didn't you stop him, Eve? Maybe he'd have stayed here!" "No, it was impossible - Eve argued. " He should choose it, I can't force him at it. You know it well!" "It's hard to choose, when you don't know there's a choice first!" Adam remarked sardonically and added: "Since you didn't want to tell him the truth, if the alternative was drinking beer and fixing Peter's guns, I'd have left, too!" Then Adam quietly stated: "From our stories, I believe that J.S. was the only possible choice in thousand years. I don't think that the sacrifice was too hard for you to do! You are the queen, yours the choice!" Eve glowered at him: "Didn't you hear him? He's a soldier, he did an oath of allegiance. One can't serve two masters!" "I'd rather the woman decided, not the queen. Sometimes one has to listen the heart's desire. It's often right, even if reason doesn't understand it." Adam counterattacked. Eve shook her head, her shoulders heavy with the responsability. "He said he'll be back. I'll wait for him. I know he'll be back. He promised!" "There are circumstances he cannot control."
