Description

This is a view of the USS Intrepid passing Jupiter on its way to Neptune to rendezvous with the USS Lewis & Clark. The Intrepid is traveling at a little over 70,000 MPH. The next picture I hope to show is the gravity assist with Jupiter to hopefully increase the ships speed to a little over 85,000 MPH. The Intrepid is preparing to fire its main thruster for injection into Jupiter gravitational field. This model was created in Bryce 5 from scratch, all concepts and designs by me. The JEPG of Jupiter by way of JPL/NASA. The starfield was created in Universe one point at a time than repeated 2 more times using different spacing and intensities; this is to create the sense of a 3 dimensional starfield.
